LIVE AT CLUB UNDERGROUND
Minneapolis, MN
"7-7-07"
Autonomy's Ether is taking the middle slot as guest of Vicious Violet for a show deep beneath the Earth's surface. Well, 1 floor beneath the surface anyway... He will be selecting material from his personal catalog, a few cover song renditions, and of course a number of Autonomy classics. This performance marks the first time the singer/songwriter/bassist has played material solo for the public, and will offer a rare glimpse into the mind of one of Minnesota's rising musical talents in an intimate setting. He will feature a whole host of guest performers from some of Minnesota's best local bands to accompany him including Charles Sadler (Stellar Vector, Little Tin Box), Jake La Core (Gabriel and thee Apocalypse), Newman (In the Morning), Marko (Vicious Violet, Back Alley) and a special appearance by former Autonomy drummer Rockula!
Vicious Violet will be forming a kind of reunion of the famous Minneapolis 80's band Morticia on this night. Jodie Tanaka will be playing Keyboards, and singing with Vicious Violet that night on a bunch of old Morticia tunes so this is an historic occasion! Matt and Jody have not played together sence the band played their last show in The 7th Street Entry in 1994.
Old James will open the show and KOOL 108's Carrie Camaro will be Djing before, and in between sets. Carrie playes Garage, Psychedelic, Acid Rock, Glitter Rock, Hard Rock from the 60's & 70's. Her show The Purple Room is on Sunday night's from 10:00 to 12:00
Ages 21+ welcome / 9:30pm / $5 cover |
