THE FUTURE OF MINNESOTA MUSIC

The rebirth of the Minneapolis rock scene is at hand, and 4 of the scene's heavyweights are uniting for one amazing concert event. Hardsoul masters B! will headline following the darksider electro-rock of Autonomy. They will be preceeded by the talented and technical In the Morning, and the show will be opened by the incomperable Ponofo.

These bands go waaaay back.

B! has been tearing up stages for years with their unique blend of hard rock and soul. It's funky, heavy, and addictive. Autonomy is a Summer Band Slam finalist who has been breaking the dark rock mold since 2001. They met B! when the two bands played together at the Urban Wildlife in Minneapolis- they hit it off immediately. Since then, Autonomy's self-titled debut album has been heard on 93X and raved-about in the St. Paul Pioneer Press. The album was recorded at Back Alley Studios, the same place where In the Morning recorded their 2006 release 'Charades'. They met at the studio and have been friends and admirer's of one another ever since. Ponofo was in the 2006 Summer Band Slam with Autonomy, and the two bands immediately saw the potential in working together.

This show is also extra-special as it also serves as a going-away concert for In the Morning's longtime friend and drummer, Derrick. This will be his last show with ITM and we all want to wish him well in future endeavors as well as celebrate the music he's made with them for all of these years.

This all adds up to one of the biggest original local band concerts of the summer. Come and celebrate the sounds of Minnesota music with us in a classic venue!
