Jendeen has made a name for herself as one of Minnesota's top professional drummers by choosing diverse and challenging bands to work with throughout her career. Jendeen is the founder and leader of the jazz group The Wolverines who have appeared in front of countless audiences both as a small ensemble and as the mighty big band for many years. She is perhaps best known in the rock world through her work with legendary transgender rock outfit All the Pretty Horses. Jendeen has had no shortage of things to do since her ATPH days. She went on tour with a theater production in early 2006, and also shows off her chops in Harsh Reality - a project with former ATPH bassist Tempest. Jendeen's tremendous talent and commitment to her craft has made her a hot commodity, and Autonomy is an endeavor which pushes her abilities both physically and creatively.
Jendeen enjoys challenging herself with a variety of styles, never content to sit still or rely on existing mastery. She pushes herself at her instrument through constant involvement in diverse projects that appeal to different musical penchants.
Jendeen began working with Autonomy in 2004 and began delighting fans of the band immediately with her bold and intricate take on the material. By 2005 she had become a creative force in the band, and has been contributing to new pieces intended for the next album. She is endorsed by Ellis Drum Shop and has several beautiful drumkits. (She'll talk your ear off about them if you're nice.)
